Phase 1

Day 1

Discovery call

We get on a call to understand where you are, what you're building, and what kind of support you need. No pitch. Just a conversation to see if there's a fit.

Your product and stage

What you've built, where you're headed, and what's blocking you.

Scope & engagement model

Retainer vs. sprint. We'll figure out which model fits your pace.

Timeline & priorities

What needs to ship first, and what the next 6–12 weeks look like.

Communication & tracking

How we'll stay in sync; we work in your tools, or set up ours.

Phase 2

Day 2-3

Project kickoff

Once we agree on scope, things start moving. We set up shared tooling, get aligned on priorities, and start working within 48 hours of signing.

Comms channel & Project Tracking

Dedicated workspace with your team. Async by default, syncs when needed.

Design backlog

We shape and prioritize the first sprint together based on impact.

Access & context

Product tours, business context, analytics, etc. We immerse ourselves in your product.

First design direction

You'll see initial explorations within the first 48–72 hours.

Phase 3

Week 1+

Design and delivery

We work through your backlog with regular updates, short feedback loops, and production-ready handoff to your engineers.

Updates every 2–3 days

Design updates, Loom walkthroughs, and async check-ins to keep momentum.

Regular syncs (Sprints Only)

15-30min calls to review progress, reprioritize, and plan ahead.

Dev-ready handoff

Annotated specs, component docs, and design tokens; not just pretty mockups.

Design review

We review the build against our designs, flag visual gaps, and update files until it looks right in production.
